Second Year - Fourth Quarter

Welcome back to Doulos Training School! The following is a list of courses to be covered in this quarter:

Soteriology II Nomology I
Heresy, Cults, and the Occult I Angelology II

Electives
Students are required to take a total of two Electives during DTS, which are to be completed during their second year.

Videos
If an article features one or more videos, viewing is required for the completion of the course.

Practicum
As your practical work for this school, you need to be a part of a Life Transformation Group (LTG) by either joining an existing one that operates according to the description I have provided in this blog, or starting an LTG of your own that follows the same process I have laid out. This is not meant to replace your regular Church attendance.

Disciplines
Be sure to schedule time each day for prayer, worship, and Bible reading. It is recommended that you read at least twenty-five to thirty chapters of the Bible per week. I also recommend that you read one Psalm and one chapter of Proverbs per day. I suggest reading the chapter in proverbs that corresponds to the day of the month (e.g., Proverbs 1 on the first day of the month, Proverbs 2 on the second day, etc).

Moreover, it is wise to also develop a lifestyle of fasting, whereby this is a part of your life each week in some way. In addition, be sure to faithfully give tithes and offerings to the Lord.

Baptized by Blazing Fire
The article, Baptized by Blazing Fire -- a Korean church's testimony, provides the links to the five-book series by brother Yong Doo Kim, called Baptize by Blazing Fire. In addition to reading the article above about the Korean church, students are required to read all five books by the end of their second year of DTS. The suggested schedule for reading the five books in one year is to read one of the five books every ten weeks. Alternatively one could read ten pages per week. Either approach will allow fifty weeks to read all five, which should be ample time, and will result in the completion of the reading assignment with two weeks to spare.

Third Year - First Quarter

Welcome back to Doulos Training School! The following is a list of courses to be covered in this quarter:

Discipleship V The Kingdom of God II Nomology II

Videos
If an article features one or more videos, viewing is required for the completion of the course.

Practicum
As your practical work for this quarter, you need to share your faith in Christ with others each week. The best way to do this is to do so as you go through each day.  But it would be even better if you could also set aside a certain amount of time each week especially for personal evangelism.

Disciplines
In addition to the course work and practicum, be sure to schedule time each day for prayer, worship, and Bible reading. It is recommended that you read at least twenty-five to thirty chapters of the Bible per week. It is best to read a continuous passage, rather than various chapters throughout the Bible. So for example, you could read the gospel of Matthew one week, which is twenty-eight chapters. Another week, you could read several of Paul's epistles, totaling twenty-five to thirty chapters.
