DTS Light Overview

Thank you for considering the Doulos Training School DTS Light programThis is a light version of our regular DTS with a reduced course load to accommodate those with special needs. This one only requires participants to read the following two articles, and then participate in a Life Transformation Group (LTG) for three years, meeting once a week for one hour with one or two partners locally:

Aside from those two articles, DTS Light students only need to participate in an LTG, which is not a Bible study, but rather a discipleship group. This would require that they be reading 25-30 chapters of the Bible per week. In the weekly LTG meetings with one or two partners,  DTS Light students would simply be asking each other five accountability questions and answering them for each other. So the total amount of time required of DTS Light students, in order to do all of this, including Bible reading, would be around 4.5 hours per week (assuming they spend 3.5 hours per week reading the Bible, plus one hour in their LTG meeting). This is only a little more than a half hour per day, including the weekly LTG meeting. But they could choose to spend more time in Bible reading and LTG meetings, if they wish, as the Lord leads.

DTS Light students will have the option to read any of the coursework that regular DTS students read, except that it will not be required. There are just four simple rules required for DTS Light students:

We hope you will take time to prayerfully consider whether the Lord would have you to apply for enrollment in the DTS Light program. If you decide this is for you, then please complete the DTS application at this link and return it to Len Lacroix. We will review your application and let you know if you have been accepted.
